Booking Confirmation

A non-refundable deposit of 100% of the total booking cost must be paid, and a confirmation issued by Yambi Hotel before the booking becomes binding. Once we receive your deposit, we will issue a confirmation for your stay (or an alternative date agreed upon between you and the hotel).

Room Prices & Taxes

Rates are quoted per room, per night in USD and may be offered with or without breakfast, as specified.

Unless stated otherwise, all rates exclude applicable taxes and levies in Rwanda, including 18% VAT and a 3% Tourism Levy.

Accepted Payment Methods

  • Cash: We accept Rwanda Franc, USD and Euros.
  • Major Credit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, AmEx.
  • Online Payments: Secure transactions via our website using Stripe or Payoneer.
  • Bank Transfers: We can provide our bank account details upon request.

Deposit Policy

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation. Late cancellations, particularly during high season, often result in lost booking opportunities; for this reason, the deposit is not refundable.

Any outstanding balance must be paid within 30 days of the due date. Failure to do so may result in automatic cancellation of the reservation, with the deposit forfeited. Guests will be notified by email prior to cancellation.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to booking@yambihotel.com. Verbal requests are not accepted. 

Cancellation Charges:

  • 60+ days before check-in: No charge
  • 30–59 days before check-in: 50% charge
  • Within 30 days or No-show: 100% charge

Refund Policy

Refunds apply only to eligible cancellations and cover the net booking amount. Government taxes (18% VAT, 3% Tourism Levy) and processing fees are non-refundable.

No refunds are issued after check-in, for early departures, unused nights, or additional services, unless cancelled at least 60 days in advance.

Eligible refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.

Force Majeure & Liability Disclaimer

Yambi Hotel cannot be held responsible for delays, cancellations, or service interruptions caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

While we take every care to ensure your safety and comfort, Yambi  Hotel is not responsible for loss, damage, or injury to personal belongings unless caused by proven negligence.

Cancellation by the Hotel

While rare, if we must cancel your reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid.

In the unlikely event of overbooking or operational constraints, we will do our best to arrange alternative accommodation of a similar standard, including transfer when applicable, at no extra cost to you.

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Any details you share with us are used solely to manage your reservation, provide our services, and communicate with you when necessary.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties, except where required by law or for secure payment processing.
